**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery** **Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)** **Duration: 13 Weeks** **Location: Arizona** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. This position holds accountability for providing excellent obstetrical care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases. The ideal candidate will utilize the Nursing Process in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive care to Labor and Delivery patients, ensuring the highest standards of clinical competency. - Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care. - Maintain current clinical competencies and participate in ongoing education. - Delegate patient care priorities appropriately based on staff education and experience. - Provide direction and supervision for assigned personnel involved in delivering patient care. - Utilize Cerner Maternity for documenting and managing patient care. - Be prepared to float to other facilities within a 25-mile radius based on patient care needs. **Required Qualifications:** - Current Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. - Previous experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, with proficiency in Cerner EMR. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Experience in triage and obstetric emergencies is a plus. **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
