**Job Description: CT Technologist** **Shift:** 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM **Location:** Asheville, NC **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 800 - **Staffing:** - **Day Shift:** 5 Technologists and 1 Supervisor - **Evening Shift:** 4-5 Technologists and 1 Radiology Assistant - **Night Shift:** 2-3 Technologists and 1 Radiology Assistant **Equipment:** GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad Injectors **EMR:** Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PACS **Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated CT Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team. The ideal candidate will exhibit a passion for quality patient care and will be capable of functioning both independently and collaboratively within a team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform various CT imaging procedures, including neuro, musculoskeletal, body imaging, and invasive cardiac imaging. - Conduct diagnostic scans and ensure high-quality images for interpretation. - Work effectively in the Emergency Department, particularly in trauma and stroke imaging scenarios. - Maintain patient safety and assist in emergency situations. **Required Qualifications:** - **Certification:** ARRT (R) required. - **Skills:** - Proficient in all areas of CT imaging, including diagnostic scans. - Strong familiarity with invasive imaging procedures. - Experience in ED trauma imaging is a must. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with GE imaging equipment. - Knowledge of invasive CT techniques and cardiac imaging. - Venipuncture skills. **Personality Fit:** We are looking for a team player who can excel in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care. **Work Conditions:** - Potential for weekend shifts and rotation to other shifts. - Possible on-call requirements of 12 hours a month. **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours/week **Contract Duration:** 91 weeks **Positions Available:** 1 --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
