**Job Title: Vascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)** **Location:** Various Locations Available **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM) **Position Overview:** We are seeking an experienced Vascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality patient care in a Level I Trauma Center and Teaching Facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience, specifically in scrub and circulating complex vascular surgical cases. **Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing vascular procedures. - Scrub and circulate for complex vascular cases, including but not limited to Endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, cold leg, Thrombectomy, Amputation, Carotid, and AV Fistula procedures. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care. - Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season, ensuring readiness and compliance with emergency protocols. **Qualifications:** - Current South Carolina RN license (or multi-state license) required. - Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a vascular operating room setting. - Proficient in BLS and ACLS certifications (must be AHA accredited). - Experience with EPIC charting system required. - Familiarity with trauma levels and surgical procedures relevant to cardiovascular contexts is preferred. **Additional Requirements:** - Must be able to fulfill on-call requirements (5-8 calls per month, including weekends). - Compliance with local radius rule (60 miles) preferred; consideration will be given to local candidates on a case-by-case basis. - RTO (Request Time Off) restrictions must be disclosed at the time of submission; no acceptance of RTO post-submission. **Unit Details:** - You will work in a supportive environment with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and more to enhance patient outcomes. - Day shift ratios: 1 patient to 1 RN for effective care delivery. **Parking:** - Parking permits available through the management office. A reasonable registration fee applies; additional fees may occur for parking in non-designated areas. **Travel Considerations:** - Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June - November), assignments may include extended emergency response duties.
