**Job Title: Critical Care Nurse (STICU)** **Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM** **Location: STICU Unit, [Location Redacted]** **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 10 - **Total Staff:** 28 (1 CNC, 5 Nurses on Day Shift; 1 CNC, 5 Nurses on Night Shift) - **Patient Ratios:** 1:2 - **Required Equipment:** CRRT, Vents, MTP, Hemospheres, Art line, TTM **General Overview:** We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the STICU unit. This role requires expertise in managing critically ill patients and is well-suited for nurses who thrive in high-pressure environments. **Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to critically ill patients in the STICU. - Monitor and manage complex patient conditions using advanced equipment and interventions. - Administer medications, including pressors and critical drips, ensuring patient safety and effective outcomes. - Perform advanced procedures such as bronchoscopy, central venous catheter (CVC) insertion, and arterial line management. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best patient care. - Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech EMR. - Adhere to all hospital policies, including attendance and weekend shift commitments. **Required Qualifications:** - **Certifications:** BLS and ACLS - **Critical Care Training:** Demonstrated critical care experience is a must. - **Essential Skills:** - Pressor medication management - Art line management - Critical drip management **Preferred Qualifications:** - Additional skills in critical drip and art line management will be prioritized. **Best Personality Fit:** - Flexible and adaptable, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. **Contract Details:** - Number of Positions: 2 - Guaranteed Hours: Yes - Contract Length: 91 Weeks **Floating Areas:** ICC, TCU, ICU **Dress Code:** Royal Blue Scrubs --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
