**Job Title: Full-Time Registered Nurse (PM Shift)** **Position Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our nursing home team. This vital role involves assisting with daily nursing activities and ensuring exceptional healthcare for residents. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for nursing and an unwavering commitment to providing quality patient care. **Essential Job Duties:** - Communicate promptly with physicians, families, and staff regarding significant changes in resident conditions. - Complete resident assessments and maintain accurate resident records through thorough charting. - Administer medications following the "5 Rights" to ensure safety and accuracy. - Perform wound care and assessments as needed. - Assist Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) by responding to call lights and monitoring residents for changes in condition. - Act as a leader on the floor, assessing and directing situations as they arise. - Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator. - Perform additional duties as required to ensure the highest standard of care. **Required Qualifications:** - A two-year degree in nursing is required; a four-year degree is preferred. - Current Wisconsin Registered Nursing license is mandatory. - CPR/BLS certification must be maintained. - A minimum of 1+ years of relevant work experience is preferred. - Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail is essential. - Strong communication and organizational skills are a must. **Work Schedule:** - Full-time position, PM Shift (2 PM - 10 PM), with commitment to every other weekend.
