**Job Description: Travel RN - PICC Team** **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM **Location:** CCU Procedure Room, Floor 3, Building 7 **Contract Length:** 91 Weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** Yes **No of Positions:** 1 **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated **Travel Registered Nurse (RN)** to join our **PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter)** team. In this critical role, you will provide specialized nursing care, performing essential procedures and supporting patient needs during night shifts. Our unit is equipped for optimal patient outcomes and fosters a culture of independence and strong work ethic. **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 1 - **Staffing:** 3 RNs (2 Day Shift, 1 Night Shift) - **Patient Ratio:** 1:1 - **Type of Equipment:** Bard 3CG - **EMR System:** Meditech **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform PICC and midline insertions and other related procedures. - Collaborate with a small, skilled team to provide high-quality patient care. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Meditech system. - Adhere to all unit guidelines and policies to ensure patient safety and quality care. **Qualifications:** - **Required Skills:** - Experience with PICC lines is a must. - Proficiency in using Meditech or similar EMR systems. - **Preferred Skills:** - Previous training in PICC procedures and related nursing practices. **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - Must be a strong and independent worker with excellent organizational skills. - Strong positive customer service orientation. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment. **Why Join Us?** Our unit offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and technology alongside a dedicated team of professionals.
