**Job Title: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technologist** **Shift Information:** - **Standard Shifts:** 6:50 am - 3:20 pm (8-hour) and 6:50 am - 7:20 pm (12-hour) - **On-Call Shift:** 7:00 pm - 5:50 am on weekdays **Job Summary:** The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technologist plays a vital role in supporting the surgical team by performing a variety of technical duties necessary for the preparation and care of pre-operative patients. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. **Schedule Details:** - 2 shifts of 8 hours and 2 shifts of 12 hours per week - On-call responsibilities will be rotated, with one week per month dedicated to on-call duties - 24-hour coverage on weekends **Responsibilities:** - Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room for surgical procedures - Provide care for pre-operative patients, ensuring their comfort and safety - Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff - Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control practices - Respond promptly to on-call duties and emergency situations as required **Requirements:** **Experience:** - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CVOR Technologist - Willingness to train and develop skills further **Education:** - Graduate of a formal surgical technologist program **Certification & Licensure:** - Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required **Skills:** - Strong communication and teamwork abilities - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions **Benefits of Joining Us:** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
