**Job Title: Dual IR and Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)** **Job Type:** Full-Time, Travel Assignment **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) **Duration:** 13 Weeks **Start Date:** October 6 **Position Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dual Interventional Radiology (IR) and Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU), demonstrating the ability to provide high-quality patient care in high-pressure environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide care in both the Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab settings, ensuring patient safety and comfort. - Respond to urgent/emergent interventional procedural needs, including Code Stroke, STEMI, Trauma, and post-procedural recovery from sedation/anesthesia. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for the effective management of patient care. - Participate in on-call rotations, holiday, and weekend shifts, including every 3rd weekend. - Utilize Epic for patient documentation and charting. **Qualifications:** - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, with Compact License or state-specific (WA) license accepted. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in ED or ICU. - Certifications required: BLS, ACLS. NIHSS and PALS are preferred. - Proficient in critical nursing skills associated with Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab procedures. - Ability to float within the hospital as needed and adapt to the unit’s demands. - Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems. **Additional Information:** - This position entails both direct patient care and participation in a diverse procedural workload, including classic cath lab duties and advanced interventional radiology tasks. - Nurses in this role will often float between IR and Cath Lab, ensuring flexible coverage based on patient needs.
