**Job Description: Staff Registered Nurse (RN) - Obstetrics & Med-Surg** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This role primarily focuses on obstetrics, specifically labor and delivery, while also providing coverage for medical-surgical (med-surg) needs when there is a lack of obstetric demands. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional nursing care in the Obstetrics unit with a strong emphasis on labor and delivery. - Assist with med-surg duties as required, ensuring high standards of patient care across both areas. - Serve in a Charge RN capacity as needed, demonstrating leadership and decision-making skills. - Participate in a rotating schedule that includes 12-hour shifts, covering both day and night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday rotations. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes. **Qualifications:** - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Previous experience in obstetrics and labor and delivery is mandatory. - Strong assessment, organization, and communication skills. - Ability to handle emergencies and provide appropriate intervention. - Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and varied environment. **Position Urgency:** Normal **Contract Duration:** 91 weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week Join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.
