**Job Description: ICU Nurse (12 HR Nights)** We are currently seeking an experienced ICU Nurse to provide exceptional care in a critical care setting. This is a 12-hour night shift position. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in intensive care nursing and must be willing to float to Med Surg if needed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. - Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols. - Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management. - Participate in periodic mandatory call shifts lasting 24 hours. **Qualifications:** - Current RN license and certification as an ICU Nurse. - Valid ACLS and BLS certification are required. - Experience with EMR systems, particularly Meditech 6.0, is preferred. - Must be flexible and willing to float to Med Surg as needed. - No more than 3 days off (RTO requests) will be accommodated during the 13-week contract duration. - Candidates must reside outside of a 100-mile radius from the facility. **Additional Information:** - The Flu vaccine is mandatory with no exceptions. - The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts over the course of the 13-week assignment. Guaranteed hours will not apply.
