**Job Title: Progressive Care Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift:** 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM **Location:** 509 Biltmore Avenue, 2nd Floor, D2 **Unit:** Inpatient Overflow Unit (Mixed Level of Care - Medical-Surgical and Step-Down Patients) --- ### Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced inpatient overflow unit. Our unit offers 20 beds with a diverse patient population, including medical-surgical and step-down patients, with an average length of stay of 24 hours. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct patient care and monitor telemetry as needed. - Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including charge nurses, RNs, and CNAs, to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols and guidelines. - Engage in patient education and support, focusing on a positive patient experience. - Assist with the quick turnover of patients as part of an efficient care delivery model. **Patient Ratios:** 1:5 to 1:6, depending on the level of care required. **Required Skills:** - Telemetry competency - Progressive Care experience - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - A positive attitude with a commitment to patient-focused care **Preferred Skills:** - Recent progressive care experience **Certifications Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) **Additional Details:** - Every other weekend is required - No on-call duties - Travelers may be required to float to other units as necessary - Dress Code: Navy and/or White Top, Navy Bottom, All White Attire **Positions Available:** 2 **Contract Duration:** 91 Weeks **Guaranteed Hours: Yes** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
