**Job Title: Telemetry Nurse - Inpatient Overflow Unit** **Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM** **Location: Mission Main Campus, 2nd Floor (D2), 509 Biltmore Avenue** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Telemetry Nurse to join our dynamic inpatient overflow unit. This unit accommodates patients with a mixed level of care, including medical-surgical and step-down patients, with a focus on quick turnover and short stays (24-hour length of stay). **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry monitoring environment. - Manage patient assignments with a typical ratio of 1:5/1:6, depending on the level of care required. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 CNAs per shift. - Utilize telemetry equipment and ensure all relevant patients are hardwired to bedside monitors. - Document patient information accurately in the EMR system (Cerner). - Support a positive patient experience by demonstrating kindness, compassion, and teamwork. **Qualifications:** - Required: - Current BLS and ACLS certifications. - Verified telemetry competency. - Progressive care experience. - Preferred: - Recent experience in a progressive care setting. **Work Environment:** - The inpatient overflow unit consists of 20 beds with a strong focus on patient care and teamwork. - RNs may be required to float to other units as needed. - Shift work includes every other weekend with no call required. **Dress Code:** - Scrubs: Navy and/or white tops with navy bottoms; all white attire is also acceptable. **Join Us!** Become part of a professional team that values positive attitude, patient-focused care, and a collaborative work environment.
