**Job Title: Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (RN)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) for our facility located on the site of a hospital. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting, performing a variety of assessments and treatments, and collaborating with medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations. - Administer treatments and medications as prescribed. - Communicate pertinent patient information to the Medical Doctor (MD) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). - Manage patient admissions and discharges effectively. - Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). - Provide specialized care, including Gastrostomy Tube management, Urinary Catheter care, Nebulized treatments, Wound Vac care, CPAP care, and Tracheostomy care. - Carry out additional nursing duties as assigned. **Position Requirements:** - Valid Hawaii Nursing License (must obtain before start date if not currently held). - Flexibility in scheduling; availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. - Ability to work in a dynamic environment with no guarantee of hours or shift preference. **Additional Information:** This is a long-term assignment with an urgency that requires prompt application.
