**Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist (Electrophysiology Experience Preferred)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist with electrophysiology (EP) experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in a fast-paced cath lab environment, providing exceptional patient care during both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience. **Shift Details:** - Schedule: 4x10-Hour Shifts (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM) - Weekend Requirements: As needed - On-call Requirements: 18-19 days of call in 8 weeks, including 2-3 weekends - Floating Requirements: Yes, may float to outpatient cath lab for procedures **Certifications Required:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) - State licensure as required (e.g., MRTBE for Arizona) **Job Responsibilities:** - Assist in the performance of electrophysiology procedures, including arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, and device placements (e.g., pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators). - Ensure maintenance of a sterile field throughout procedures and operate cardiac catheterization equipment safely and effectively. - Monitor patient vitals and assist the medical team in cardiac assessments and interventions. - Document procedures and patient information accurately using the Cerner charting system. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care within a short-term acute care setting. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with Electrophysiology procedures and Structural Heart interventions. - Familiarity with various cardiac cath lab equipment, including GE systems, mac lab hemodynamic documentation systems, and experience in working with Cerner. **Facility Overview:** - Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care - Total Staffed Beds: 87 - Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics - Daily Census: 3-5 patients **Additional Information:** - Scrubs will be provided in the Cath Lab. - Free parking is available for all staff members. - Compliance with facility quality and patient safety standards is expected. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
