**Job Title: Vascular Sonographer** **Location:** [Location Not Specified] **Shift:** 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both general and specialized vascular ultrasound studies, ensuring high-quality imaging services. This role is ideal for individuals who are self-driven, proficient in the full spectrum of vascular ultrasound studies, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound studies including, but not limited to: - Upper and lower extremity venous duplex studies - Upper and lower extremity arterial duplex studies - Carotid duplex studies - Bypass graft studies - Mesenteric artery duplex studies - Renal artery duplex studies - Upper and lower extremity vein mapping duplex studies - Fistula flow studies - Venous reflux studies - Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, involving weekday evenings and weekend coverage as needed to ensure 24/7 imaging availability. - Occasionally provide ultrasound services at additional medical facilities including outpatient clinics and outreach centers. - Maintain compliance with IAC requirements and uphold high standards of patient care and safety. **Qualifications:** - ARDMS certification is required; certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is preferred. - Demonstrated independent proficiency in performing the full range of vascular ultrasound studies. - Must possess high levels of competency, proficiency, and frequency in the outlined vascular studies. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. - Ability to document and share competency scores and detailed experience within the department standards. **Health and Professional Requirements:** - Current health assessments including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccination, TB tests, and Varicella immunity. - A valid driver’s license or state ID. - Professional references and a clean background check are mandatory. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
