**Job Title: MRI Technologist** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and qualified MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment while providing excellent patient care in a clinical environment. You will also play a key role in ensuring patient and personnel safety according to prescribed standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your knowledge of Magnetic Resonance imaging processes and safety protocols to administer high-quality imaging services. - Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring that all necessary information is clearly communicated and questions are answered. - Perform MRI procedures including neuro, body, and extremity scans, strictly adhering to protocols established by the Radiologist. - Execute venous access on all patients requiring IV contrast as directed by a Radiologist. - Accurately enter data into Radiology Imaging Systems, including IDX Imaging Suite and Picture Archive Communication Systems. - Process images as required and identify anatomical structures on MRI scans. - Conduct quality control tests on MRI equipment and report any irregularities immediately. - Collaborate with the Team Leader and maintenance personnel to address any equipment malfunctions effectively. - Manage supply orders and notify appropriate personnel of inventory levels to maintain operational efficiency. - Serve as a radiology liaison, offering support to physicians and escalating issues as necessary. - Maintain compliance with all organizational policies and procedures to ensure accountability in your role. **Qualifications:** - Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required). - Certification(s) and License(s): - Basic Life Support Certification. - Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). - Certified Radiology Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). **Skills:** - Strong commitment to patient care and safety. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures to patients. - Detail-oriented with the ability to perform quality control. - Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical environment. **Work Schedule:** - Full-time position offering 4x10 hour shifts in the evening (hours between 11 AM and 11:30 PM). - Call duty approximately 2-3 times every 2 weeks, before or after shifts (average call time of 4 hours). --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
