**Job Description: Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift**: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM **Location**: Acute Care Unit, Franklin, NC Join a newly opened state-of-the-art acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of medical services to the local community. This critical access hospital is equipped with modern amenities including a 30-bed capacity, three operating rooms, dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces, and a 17-bed emergency department featuring two trauma bays. Our mission is to deliver compassionate care with a focus on patient comfort and safety. **Position Overview**: We are seeking experienced Acute Care Registered Nurses to provide top-tier healthcare services in our fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidates are strong team players with a commitment to high-quality patient care and safety. **Key Responsibilities**: - Deliver direct nursing care to patients in an acute care setting. - Monitor and manage patient assessments, medications, and therapies. - Collaborate with medical and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Participate in patient education and discharge planning. - Adhere to all hospital protocols and guidelines. **Unit Information**: - Number of Beds: 30 - Patient Ratios: Med-Surg 6:1 (occasionally 7:1), ICU typically 4:1 - Type of Equipment: EMR - Cerner **Qualifications**: - Must have prior experience in ICU or Step Down/Progressive Care. - At least one previous travel assignment in a similar role is required. - Preferred experience in performing procedures such as thoracentesis, ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and dressing changes. - Required Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BLS **Preferred Skills**: - Experience with ICU patients is highly valued. - Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. - Outgoing demeanor with a focus on patient care. **Schedule and Expectations**: - Shifts typically run from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. - Every other weekend is required, with additional on-call responsibilities as needed. - No. of Positions Available: 2 - Guaranteed Contract Weeks: 91 --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
