**Job Description: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency medicine, with a strong background in critical care preferred. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential care to patients of all ages. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department (ED) for a diverse patient population, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients. - Manage patient care efficiently with a typical ratio of 1:4, while being prepared for adjustments during peak times or high-volume days. - Implement nursing interventions and monitor patients in various states, including behavioral health concerns. - Utilize electronic health records (EHR) tools, primarily MedHost and Meditech, for patient documentation and management. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive and compassionate care environment. - Maintain current certifications, including ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care, NIH, and PALS or ENPC. **Qualifications:** - 5+ years of experience in an Emergency Department setting. - Current and valid nursing license. - Required certifications prior to starting, including ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC. - Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. - Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. **Shift Details:** - Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours - Flexible weekend requirements may apply. **Work Environment:** - The facility has 31 beds, including 2 triage rooms, with an emphasis on team-based care and patient-centered practices. - Ongoing support and training provided through a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere. **Apply Today!** If you're ready to elevate your nursing career and make a difference in the lives of patients, we'd love to hear from you! --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
