**Job Title: Adult RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)** **Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)** **Location: [City, State]** **About the Position:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Adult Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team for a night shift position at a premier teaching hospital. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in critical care settings, working with a diverse patient population. **Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality respiratory care to adult patients in critical care, including those on ECMO, IABP, and Impella. - Conduct assessments, implement respiratory therapy plans, and monitor patient response to therapies. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. - Educate patients and families about respiratory therapies and management. - Maintain accurate documentation and charting in accordance with facility policies and procedures (Epic). **Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). - Current NBRC RRT certification required; South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license must be in hand prior to the start date. - Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required. - No first-time travelers accepted; experienced candidates only. - Ability to float to the main hospital if required, adhering to the same policies and equipment. **Additional Information:** - On-call requirements: None. - Floating to sister facilities: No. - Weekend coverage required: Every other weekend. - Guaranteed hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. - Parking: A one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass during nights and weekends. - Must complete all RTO (Requested Time Off) at the time of submission; no RTO will be accepted after submission. **About the Facility:** This facility is recognized for its excellence in healthcare, offering advanced services including a Magnet designation, Level 1 Trauma center, and specialized ICUs for cardiovascular care and medical-surgical needs.
