**Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology (VIR)** **Shift:** AM (8 Hours) **Contract Length:** 90 Weeks **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist with expertise in interventional and invasive procedures to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care. The primary function of this role is to produce diagnostic radiographs while assisting physicians in various interventional procedures. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver exceptional patient care throughout the radiologic process. - Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs while adhering to safety protocols. - Assist physicians during interventional and invasive procedures. - Maintain accurate records, films, and paperwork related to patient care and procedures. - Prepare, maintain, and operate radiologic and special procedure equipment safely and responsibly. - Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff. - Demonstrate expertise in special studies and angiography. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program is required. - **Experience:** - General experience in special studies and angiography is required. - Dedicated experience in vascular interventional radiology (VIR) is preferred. - **Licenses/Certifications:** - RT(R) - Registered Technologist (Radiography) is required. - BLS - Basic Life Support certification is required. - RT(VI) - Registered Technologist (Vascular Interventional) is preferred. - RT(CV) - Registered Technologist (Cardiovascular) is preferred.
