**Job Title: Respiratory Therapist** **Shift:** 19:00 - 07:00 **Location:** Hopewell, VA **Unit Overview:** Join a dynamic Respiratory Therapy unit with a bed capacity of 147. Our daily hospital census averages between 80-100, ensuring a manageable patient load and an opportunity to provide quality care. **Patient Ratios & Staffing:** Our staffing includes unit secretaries and respiratory technicians, allowing for efficient workflow and support for our therapists. **Equipment Used:** - 840 Ventilator - 980 Ventilator - V60 Ventilator - Vapotherm - Epoc **Documentation System:** Meditech **Scheduling Requirements:** - Shifts are from 7 PM to 7 AM - Every other weekend commitment **Floating Policy:** On occasion, staff may be required to float to other units based on patient care needs. **Patient Experience Standards:** Our respiratory therapists strive to create a comforting and supportive environment for all patients, fostering a positive hospital experience. **Certifications Required:** - State License - NBRC Credential - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) **Dress Code:** Galaxy Blue scrubs are required for all respiratory staff. **Additional Information:** Our department boasts a wonderful culture.
