**Job Description: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)** We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team for a contract position. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 24 months of current Level I Trauma RRT experience and will be responsible for providing exceptional respiratory care to patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer respiratory therapy and monitor patient progress. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans. - Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards in the provision of care. - Perform therapeutic procedures per established protocols and guidelines. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. **Qualifications:** - Must have a valid and active respiratory therapy license. - Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and other relevant credentials must be active upon submission. - No license hits on record. - Preferred: PICU/NICU experience and travel experience. - Must be able to provide proof of flu vaccination status; declinations can be considered. **Shift Information:** - Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM. - Contract Duration: 91 weeks. - Guaranteed Hours: 24. - On-call schedule and weekend shifts will be determined by the facility. **Submission Requirements:** - Completed application with a fully filled out cover page. - Current resume detailing all facilities worked at, including facility size, number of beds, trauma level, and specific units cared for. - Skills checklist specific to discipline (dated within the last year). - Active license verification (not older than 30 days). - All requested information should be clearly noted, including availability and any time-off requests (RTO should not exceed 7 days).
