**Job Title:** Certified Surgical Technician **Department:** Surgical Services/Patient Care Division **Shift:** 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM (5x8 schedule) **Start Date:** 10/20/2025 **Position Summary:** We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Technician to join our Surgical Services team. In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting surgeons during operations by preparing, providing, and caring for instruments and equipment while maintaining a sterile field. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for procedures. - Assist surgeons by providing necessary instruments and supplies during surgery. - Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures. - Clean, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and equipment. - Float to other departments as needed to support surgical services. - Participate in 1-2 weekend call shifts and 1-2 call nights per week as per the schedule. **Minimum Qualifications:** - **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate from a Surgical Technology program preferred. - **Certifications:** BLS certification and Surgical Tech certification required. - **Experience:** A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care hospital operating room or instrument care environment preferred. - **Skills:** - Knowledge of care and handling of surgical instruments and equipment. - Proficient in sterilization and cleansing procedures. - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. **Environment:** - Employee will be required to follow Universal Precautions and maintain safety protocols to minimize exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials. - Will utilize personal protective equipment as required. **Physical Requirements:** - This role involves heavy physical effort, including standing, walking, or lifting throughout the day. - Must possess the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
