**Job Title: Night Shift ICU Nurse** **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Night Shift ICU Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care in a fast-paced critical care environment. This position involves working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a critical care setting, including the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed. - Manage a patient ratio that typically ranges from 1:1 to 3:1, ensuring high-quality patient care. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams, to optimize patient outcomes. - Float to various critical care units as needed, adhering to guidelines for patient safety and care standards. - Monitor and manage complex medical equipment and technology, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps. - Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate and timely documentation of patient care. - Participate in the education and training of staff and patients, as well as ongoing professional development. **Qualifications:** - A valid PA or compact nursing license is required. - Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience is required; experience in a critical care float pool is preferred. - Previous charge nurse experience is a plus. - Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required. - Familiarity with trauma care in a Level I facility is necessary. - Strong skills in managing a range of critical care conditions and procedures. **Additional Information:** - Candidates must be willing to fulfill weekend and holiday requirements, averaging every other weekend and holiday. - Applicants should be prepared to float to Medical-Surgical (MS) units and Low-Level Monitoring (LLM) as needed, with a maximum of 4 patients in those settings. - A commitment to complete pre-start compliance on time is essential, and travelers are requested to have their RTO due at the time of submission.
