**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Cardiology PCU** **Shift:** 12-hour Nights **Schedule:** 7 PM - 7 AM (Days vary) **Contract Duration:** 16 weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** 110 **Location Requirements:** Candidates must be located outside a 50-mile radius to apply. **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Cardiology Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for cardiology nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Acute Cardiology PCU. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate care plans. - Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. - Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment plans, and recovery processes. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute cardiology nursing. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. **Holiday Requirements:** Candidates must be available to work 2 major holidays out of the following 3: - Thanksgiving Day - Christmas Day - New Year’s Day Additionally, candidates must work 1 minor holiday, choosing from: - Day after Thanksgiving - Christmas Eve - New Year’s Eve --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
