**Job Title: CT Technologist** **Job Type: Contract (3x12.0 Shift)** **Shift Schedule:** Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 PM to 7:30 AM; holidays, on call, and callback as per unit needs. **Contract Duration:** 17 weeks **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center and possess strong communication skills, with a patient-focused approach. **Responsibilities:** - Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans, strictly adhering to patient safety protocols. - Coordinate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic imaging services. - Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort. - Insert IVs for tests as necessary and position patients, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility while utilizing safe patient handling techniques. - Maintain accurate patient records within the EPIC system, documenting all required components and ensuring images are sent to the PACS system upon exam completion. - Uphold cleanliness and safety standards within the scanning facility. **Requirements:** - Completion of formal training in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology. - Current certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). - Valid New York State licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position). - Minimum of two years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center. - BLS certification (American Heart Association only). - Knowledge and experience with Siemens and Philips imaging equipment preferred. - Injection certification is a plus, and candidates must be willing to complete training during orientation. **Preferred Skills:** - Epic experience (1 year preferred). - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - A patient and compassionate disposition with the ability to work cohesively in a team environment. **Behavior Characteristics:** - Strong team player attitude. - Ability to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
