**Job Title: Travel RN - Labor & Delivery** **Shift:** 5 PM to 5 AM **Location:** Englewood, Colorado **Unit Information:** - **Unit Type:** Labor & Delivery - **Number of Beds:** 16 - **Staffing:** 40 members including RNs, charge nurses, and scrub techs - **Patient Ratios:** 1:2 (may fluctuate based on acuity) **Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position will involve providing exceptional patient care to both low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive care for obstetric patients throughout the labor and delivery process. - Circulate during c-sections and assist with various procedures such as cerclages, versions, vaginal deliveries, D&Cs, and management of fetal demise. - Monitor fetal health and maternal well-being using GE fetal monitoring systems. - Collaborate effectively with physicians, midwives, and doulas to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Deliver exceptional patient experiences while maintaining strong communication with families. **Required Qualifications:** - Valid RN license. - Experience with NRP, BLS, ACLS, and EFM-C or AWHONN certifications. - Proficient in intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring. - Ability to care for both low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients. - Capable of circulating c-sections independently. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with unblocked/unepiduralized patients. - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. - Background in Mom/Baby or couplet care. **Work Environment:** Our Labor & Delivery unit is equipped with the latest technologies and offers a collaborative team atmosphere.
