**Job Title: Physical Therapist** **Location:** [Location to be provided] **Shift:** Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 **Weekend Hours:** 8 (one weekend shift per month required) **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Physical Therapist in our facility, you will provide specialized care to patients with neurological injuries, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, strokes, amputations, orthopedic conditions, and wound care needs. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping our patients restore function, improve mobility, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and diagnoses. - Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and enhance daily living skills. - Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize outcomes. - Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation goals, exercises, and home care strategies. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and EHR standards (UDS and Cerner). **Patient Population:** Primarily adults with a diverse range of conditions, including but not limited to neurological disorders, spinal cord injuries, stroke, amputation, and orthopedic issues. **Qualifications:** - Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. - Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF), or acute care setting preferred. - Ability to float to other locations if needed based on patient census. **Skills and Experience:** - Proven ability to work effectively with patients facing complex rehabilitation challenges. - Experience in managing a diverse caseload and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Familiarity with assistive technologies and rehabilitation equipment (including In-motion, Synaptic, EKSO, and VR). - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and collaborate with team members. **Additional Information:** - Must adhere to all facility and departmental policies and procedures. - Required to report typically at 7 AM for orientation and team huddles. - Maroon scrubs required on the first day. --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
