**Job Description: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shifts** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position. As a vital member of our patient care team, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality care to our patients in a fast-paced, dynamic medical-surgical environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement effective patient care plans. - Monitor and document patient progress and responses to interventions. - Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, especially for isolation cases, including but not limited to COVID-19 and Monkey Pox. - Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and continued care. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care processes. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing. - EPIC proficiency is required. - Ability to provide a work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days. - Submission of a Skills Checklist, References, Certification Card, and Nursys License Verification is mandatory. - Candidate profile must include complete demographic information and a badge-appropriate picture. **Work Schedule:** - Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week. - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours weekly. - Contract duration: 54 weeks. **Common Diagnoses Managed:** - Diverse medical-surgical conditions, including cases requiring isolation precautions.
