RN Cardiac Cath Lab

**Job Title: Travel RN - Cath Lab** **Shift:** Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM **On-Call Schedule:** 11-13 days of call per month, including 2 weekends; coverage for 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday. **Location:** Medical City Frisco, Frisco, TX **Unit Information:** - **Unit Type:** Cardiac Cath Lab - **Number of Beds:** 2 labs - **Staffing:** 8 staff members with a 3-person team per lab on the day shift. **Patient Ratios:** - 3 patients per team for heart catheterizations - 1:1 for Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and Cardiovascular Navigations (CVNs) **Essential Qualifications:** - **Must Have:** - Minimum 3 years of prior Cath Lab experience - Critical Care experience - Active RN license - ACLS/BLS certifications - **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) & Peripheral Vascular procedures - Ability to monitor procedures in MacLab - 5 years of overall nursing experience **Common Procedures Performed:** - Heart catheterizations - Pulmonary Embolism (PE) and Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) thrombectomies - Peripheral Vascular Studies (PVS) - Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and Cardiovascular navigations (CVNs) - Lexiscans - Electrophysiology studies - Ablation procedures - Device implants **Ideal Candidate Traits:** - Flexible, caring, punctual, dependable, consistent, predictable, and team-oriented **Dress Code:** - RNs are required to wear Royal Blue scrubs **Additional Floating Areas:** - Emergency Department (ED) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) **Guaranteed Hours:** - 91 contract weeks **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
