**Job Title: Night Shift Med-Surg RN (Travel Position)** **Location:** 50 miles or more from the facility **Shift:** Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM **Contract Duration:** 91 Weeks **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to our patients during night shifts. This position requires a commitment to working every other weekend and every other holiday as needed. **Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population on a medical-surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:6. - Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure the best patient outcomes. - Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and evaluate patient progress. - Document patient care and progress using Cerner, Merge, and PowerChart electronic medical record systems. - Float to different units as required and support team members during high-demand situations. **Requirements:** - Current TN Nursing License (or compact license). - Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required, with a preference for 2 years of experience on a Med-Surg floor. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Must provide home address and social security number upon submission. - Willingness to float between units and adhere to a dynamic schedule. **Unit Details:** - Number of Beds: 18-24 per unit - Scrub Color: Navy **Additional Information:** - Guaranteed hours for contracted shifts. - Must have the ability to travel; candidates living more than 50 miles from the facility will be prioritized. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
