**Job Description: Night Shift ICU Nurse** We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift ICU Nurse to join our esteemed healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of expertise in critical care nursing and demonstrate proficiency in managing complex patient conditions. This position requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a patient ratio of 2:1. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). - Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including managing ventilators, vasoactive drips, and lytic therapy. - Perform critical patient assessments, including those with tracheostomies, neurological issues, strokes, ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), and sheath management. - Float as needed to various departments, including Surgery, Medicine, and Emergency Department (ED), ensuring continuity of care across the facility. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR), specifically using Cerner. **Requirements:** - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (AHA or ARC accepted). - Extensive ICU-level experience with critical patient care. - Previous travel nursing experience is preferred. - Ability to provide care for patients with diverse and complex needs. - Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility for travel consideration. - Must provide home address and Social Security Number (SSN) upon application submission. **Facility Information:** - Number of Hospital Beds: 21 - Scrub Color: Navy If you have the skills and passion for providing excellent patient care in an ICU setting, we invite you to apply and join our team! --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
