**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care & Neuro Stepdown** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM **Location:** Main Building, 10 Tower **Number of Beds:** 30 (22 Acute Care, 8 Stepdown) **Patient Ratios:** 6:1 on Acute Care, 4:1 on Neuro Stepdown --- **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in the Acute Care and Neuro Stepdown units. The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing skills, critical thinking abilities, and the capability to manage time effectively in a high-paced hospital environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Acute Care and Neuro Stepdown units, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. - Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, participating in daily huddles and utilizing bedside shift reporting to enhance patient experience. - Monitor patient conditions and administer treatments, including various drips, high-flow oxygen, Bipap, and traech care. - Perform common procedures, such as lumbar punctures and chest tube placements, with competence and confidence. - Maintain accurate patient documentation using the Meditech system. **Qualifications:** - Active RN Licensure. - BLS certification required for Acute Care; BLS and ACLS certification required for Neuro Stepdown. - Strong experience in Acute Care nursing; previous experience in a Neuro Stepdown unit is preferred. - Ability to float to different units after orientation, based on staffing needs. - Exceptional critical thinking and time management skills. **Unit Staffing Description:** - Each shift will be supported by a Charge Nurse responsible for the entire 10 Tower, along with 1-2 nursing technicians and a unit secretary. **Work Schedule:** - The position requires flexible scheduling, including weekend shifts. **Dress Code:** - Nurses may wear approved black, blue, or grey scrubs, with any color of scrubs allowed on Fridays. --- **Join Us for an Exciting Career Opportunity:** This position is an excellent starting point for those aspiring to transition into ICU care, with opportunities to grow and evolve within our supportive environment. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
