**Job Title: Endoscopy RN** **Shift: 4x10 Day Schedule (07:00 - 17:00)** **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate nurse to work in a dynamic acute hospital setting. The Endoscopy RN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during various endoscopic procedures. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. - Perform various nursing duties, including pre-operative assessment, patient education, and post-operative monitoring. - Administer sedation and manage airway during procedures such as EUS, EBUS, ERCP, Colonoscopy, and Bronchoscopy. - Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and procedures using the Epic charting system. - Participate in on-call rotation, required every 5th weekend. **Qualifications:** - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska preferred (pending licenses accepted). - Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, ideally in an Endoscopy or similar clinical setting. - Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and SGNA certification are preferred. - Proficient in skills such as airway management, conscious sedation, specimen handling, and monitoring during outpatient and inpatient procedures. **Additional Information:** - Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. - Daily census averages around 15 patients with various diagnoses and procedures performed. - Free parking available at the facility. - We support our nursing staff with ongoing clinical education and professional development. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
