**Job Description: CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CVOR RN for a 10-hour rotating shift position at a large teaching hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set in both scrubbing and circulating during various surgical procedures. This position requires flexibility, as occasional floating to the Ambulatory Campus may be necessary. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care within the cardiovascular operating room. - Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Execute scrubbing and circulating duties effectively in various surgical specialties including orthopedic, robotic, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro. - Maintain compliance with medical protocols and hospital policies. - Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Epic, to document patient information accurately and timely. **Qualifications:** - Current BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred. - Minimum of two years of experience in an acute care, large teaching hospital setting preferred, though candidates with slightly less experience but strong skills may be considered. - Proficiency in both scrub and circulate roles; candidates are required to provide skill checklists. - Recent experience using Epic (within the last two years) is a non-negotiable requirement. - Strong knowledge base in various surgical specialties mentioned above. **Additional Information:** - This role requires the ability to work call shifts and weekends. - Reliable transportation is essential, as public transport is not accessible in the area. - Candidates should ensure they have all-season or snow tires on their vehicles from November to April. **Join Our Team!** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
