**Job Title: Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician - Day Shift** **Job Location: [City, State]** **Shift Details:** - Monday through Friday - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential services in interventional radiology. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, while maintaining high standards of technical proficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to: aortography, angioplasty, and stent placements. - Assist radiologists during procedures, ensuring a sterile field is maintained at all times. - Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. - Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any immediate needs. - Maintain detailed patient records and documentation using the Epic charting system. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. **Qualifications:** - Minimum 1 year of experience as an IR Technician. - National certifications: BLS, ARRT(R) required; IR certification preferred. - Must possess IR experience and understand various interventional techniques. - Ability to work on-call with a weekly rotation and minimal weekend call duty. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. **Additional Requirements:** - Radiation badge is required (to be provided by the agency). - Must be willing to float within the scope of work as needed. - Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are encouraged to apply; however, preference will be given to non-local applicants. **Patient Care Environment:** - Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital - Daily Census: Average of 8 patients - Patient Age Group: Adults **Other Details:** - Scrubs will be provided by the facility. - There may be opportunities for block scheduling upon managerial approval. - This position requires the candidate to be prepared to participate in emergency response during hurricane season (June to November). **Why Choose ARMStaffing?** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
