**Job Title: Home Health Nurse (Skilled Care)** **Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Health Nurse to provide high-quality skilled nursing care in the home setting. The successful candidate will have prior experience in infusion, home health, and patient care, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practices and patient education. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive cardiopulmonary assessments, including basic wound care and management. - Administer and manage IV therapy, wound vacs, and other critical care interventions. - Perform patient care procedures such as foley catheter changes, staple/suture removals, and lab draws (venipuncture). - Execute necessary skilled visits with an expectation of 6-8 patient interactions per day. - Utilize medical equipment effectively, including glucometers, pro-time machines, and portable printers. - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding disease management and post-operative care. - Documentation of patient data and care plans using electronic health systems, including OASIS training and experience. - Self-schedule visits based on the needs assessed by the HomeCare office, with flexibility in hour adjustments. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** - Valid nursing license in Florida or a compact state. - Minimum of 1 year of home health nursing experience in a skilled setting. - Must have current certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS). - Familiarity with high-risk diagnoses such as heart failure (HF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), myocardial infarction (MI), pneumonia, stroke, and post-operative care. - COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted). - Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits. - Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory standards. **Additional Information:** - Orientation hours: 40 - Daily census: 400-1000 patients across all locations. - Collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams, including Physical Therapy, Social Services, and Pharmacy. - Home skilled visits located in a smoke-free facility environment. --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
