**Job Title:** CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift **Shift:** 7 PM - 7:30 AM **Job Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular intensive care, particularly with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients. This position involves providing care for high acuity patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and interventions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac and vascular surgeries in the CVICU setting. - Monitor and manage patients needing advanced hemodynamic support, including the use of ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, and temporary pacemakers. - Perform ECG interpretation and management, and titrate vasoactive and inotropic drips as per protocol. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in alignment with facility policies. - Participate in competency assessments and ongoing education to enhance nursing skills and meet hospital standards. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2-3 years of CVICU nursing experience required. - Proven competency in managing critically ill cardiac and vascular patients. - Current and valid nursing license. - ACLS certification is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interaction. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population. **Additional Information:** - Trauma Level One experience is required. - Competency test required within 24 hours of submission. - Local candidates ineligible from specific counties (please check for details). - Navy blue scrubs are required for this position. - This position may not require floating to other units depending on staffing needs. - Expected work schedule includes three 12-hour night shifts per week. - EMR system utilized at the facility is to be determined. - This position is a temporary assignment for a duration of 91 contract weeks. **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
