**Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse** **Shift**: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 AM - 03:30 PM) **Position Overview**: We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional care in a cardiology environment, specifically within the Cath Lab, where you will work on cardiac and peripheral cases. As a Cath Lab RN, you will assist in pre and post-procedure care, including cardioversions and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs). **Key Responsibilities**: - Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab, including pre-operative and post-operative assessments. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care for cardiac and peripheral patients. - Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients during cardiovascular procedures. - Participate in on-call rotation, providing 8-10 days of call per month, which may include weekend coverage. - Work two of three major holidays and be available for additional shifts during high-demand periods. - Ensure compliance with facility protocols and maintain a tobacco and fragrance-free environment. **Requirements**: - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting. - Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required; RCI certification is highly preferred. - Experience with EPIC charting systems is heavily preferred. - Must be willing to work in a facility that may care for COVID patients. **Unit Details**: - The Cath Lab operates as a 7-bed unit, with an average daily census of 4-6 patients. - The procedural care team consists of interdisciplinary support, including IV, physical therapy, and rapid response teams. - The unit staff rotates through cardiac and peripheral cases, ensuring a variety of patient interactions. **Additional Information**: - Maximum allowable RTO (Requested Time Off): 7 days. - Local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be offered at a lower bill rate. - Must possess a valid RN license without any recent disciplinary actions.
