**Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Day Shift)** **Location:** [Location details to be provided] **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00) **Start Date:** ASAP **About the Role:** We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in an acute care hospital setting. This position is ideal for professionals with at least 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality diagnostic tests using nuclear procedures and imaging techniques while ensuring patient safety and comfort. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including but not limited to general nuclear medicine studies, Lexi scans, and PET/CT imaging. - Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. - Administer radiopharmaceuticals and evaluate imaging results. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret findings and improve patient outcomes. - Document all procedures in an electronic record system, utilizing Epic software. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine, with a focus on adult and geriatric patients preferred. - Certifications: BLS, NMTCB, and a current CA state license (to be held prior to start; no temp licenses accepted). - Previous experience with charge responsibilities is advantageous. - Demonstrated ability to manage patient care efficiently, prioritizing safety and comfort. **Skills:** - Proficient in performing various nuclear medicine studies. - Knowledgeable in the use of advanced imaging technology including PET scans and EKGs. - Strong clinical skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. - Excellent patient interaction and communication skills. **Facility Highlights:** - Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital, MAGNET Recognized - Total Staffed Beds: 426 - Free parking available for staff. **Patient Care Details:** - Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics - Daily Census: 5-10 patients **Additional Required Information:** - Must be willing to float between facilities within the state as needed. - Commitment to working 3 out of 5 holidays during the contract period. - Completion of onboarding modules and training prior to start date is required. **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
