**Job Title: Cath Lab RN** **Shift Details:** - Day Shift: 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:00) - On-call requirements: Monday to Friday with weekend call obligations **Facility Overview:** Join a premier acute care hospital recognized as a STEMI and Stroke receiving center, featuring 4 state-of-the-art labs and a focus on a variety of procedures including cardiac, electrophysiology, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology. **Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care in the Cath Lab environment. - Support procedures including TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, diagnostic, and interventional cardiology, as well as diagnostic and interventional neuro care. - Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork, collaborating with various specialties to ensure patient safety and optimal care outcomes. - Perform accurate monitoring of patients and assist with various interventional cardiology procedures. - Participate in on-call rotations as required, ensuring ongoing patient support during after-hours. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in a Cath Lab setting required. - Must possess California state nursing license, ARRT certification, BLS, ACLS, and a Fluoro Permit. - Experience in stroke or interventional radiology is preferred, although electrophysiology or structural heart experience is not required. - Strong skills in catheterizations, angioplasty, thrombectomy, and hemodynamic monitoring are essential. - Ability to float between specialties in the lab as required. **Patient Care Details:** - Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. - Daily census in the Cath Lab ranges from 6-8 patients, with daily visits supported by an interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. **Additional Details:** - Hospital located beachside, with a supportive culture and emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration. - Orientation and training provided, with opportunities for continuous education.
