**Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - LDRP Unit** **Location:** Northeastern Nevada **Shift:** 19:00 - 07:00 **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our LDRP unit. This position is responsible for providing exceptional care to women during labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery procedures. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong commitment to quality healthcare and patient-centered service. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, newborns, and postpartum mothers. - Conduct OB triage assessments and manage fetal monitoring. - Perform nursing procedures for healthy birthing experiences including management of standard deliveries and cesarean sections. - Support patients through pre-eclampsia, eclampsia and hypertensive crisis interventions. - Facilitate non-stress tests and postpartum assessments. - Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and patient safety. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EHR systems (Centricity/MEDHOST). **Qualifications:** - Must possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. - Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing. - Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring. - Strong knowledge of SVD, cesarean sections, and care of newborns, as well as experience with the management of hemorrhages. - Ability to effectively manage a variety of maternal and newborn conditions. - Must be flexible and work well in a team-oriented environment. **Unit Information:** - 15-bed unit with 6 Labor & Delivery beds and 9 Postpartum beds. - Patient ratios adhere to AWHONN standards. - Equipped with Omnicell Medication Dispenser, Baxter Pumps, Masimo Monitors, and GE Centricity Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring. **Personality Fit:** We are looking for a knowledgeable, flexible, team player who is hardworking and dedicated to providing high-quality care. **Additional Information:** - This position may require floating to other departments based on patient census and unit needs. - Dress code: Scrubs (any color accepted). --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
