**Job Title: Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift:** Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Duration:** 13 Weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** 72 Bi-weekly **Job Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The selected candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses to work with diverse patient populations and enhance their clinical skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and critical care nursing interventions in the Emergency Department. - Administer medications and manage critical care drips effectively. - Perform IV starts and other essential nursing procedures. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain patient safety and comfort during treatment, supporting both physical and emotional needs. - Document patient care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (Cerner preferred). **Requirements:** - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Indiana. - Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP. - Minimum of 3 years' experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred. - Proficient in IV starts, nursing assessments, and managing critical care drips. - Preferred experience with ICU drips. - Ability to work night shifts and handle a patient ratio of 1:4-5. **Facility Overview:** - Equipped with 7 Emergency Department rooms and 2 trauma beds. - Monthly department volume averages a daily census of 25 patients. - Scrubs are navy blue. **Additional Information:** - Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted. - Please include a physical address that matches your driver's license along with your application. - Must attach required licenses and certifications; submissions without this documentation will be rejected. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
