**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery** **Shift:** 18:45-07:15 **Location:** Various Facilities (Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility) **Contract Duration:** 91 Weeks **Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team, specializing in Labor and Delivery. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout their experience. - Apply critical thinking and scientific judgment in the planning and provision of care. - Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training. - Delegate patient care priorities based on the experience and education of available staff. - Supervise and provide direction to personnel delivering patient care. - Ensure familiarity with EMR systems (CERNER). - Float to nursery and postpartum units when necessary. **Qualifications:** - Current TN Nursing License. - 2 years of relevant nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. - BLS and ACLS certifications (ARC or AHA only accepted). - NRP certification preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire). - Fetal Monitoring certification preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire). - Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 2:1. **Submission Requirements:** - Must include home address and SSN with job application. - Travelers must meet the distance requirement of being over 50 miles from the facility. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
