**Job Title: Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (Nights)** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team for a night shift position (3x12-hour, 19:00 - 07:00). As an RN in this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care to a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on medical-surgical diagnoses with a telemetry component. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across various medical-surgical conditions, including respiratory issues, diabetes management, and post-surgical observation. - Conduct EKG interpretations and manage telemetry monitoring, ensuring accurate assessment and response to patient needs. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, social services, and pharmacy, to optimize patient outcomes. - Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to infection control protocols and isolation precautions. - Administer medications, blood products, and IV fluids as prescribed; perform patient treatments including colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP management, and wound care. - Float to other units as necessary and flexibly adapt to changing patient care demands. - Participate in on-call requirements as needed. **Qualifications:** - Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a strong preference for candidates with previous charge nurse experience. - Proficiency in using EPIC or similar electronic health record (EHR) systems. - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. - Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage various telemetry settings effectively. - A commitment to compliance, including passing a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding. **Shift Details:** - Night shift (19:00 - 07:00) - 3x12 hour shifts per week, including every other weekend and holidays as needed. - Floating to different units or campuses may be required based on census and staffing needs. **Benefits:** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
