**Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry RN - 18 Week Contract** **Shift:** - Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) - Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for an 18-week contract. This position will involve rotating shifts between days and nights to meet the operational needs of the facility, and while efforts will be made to honor preferred shifts, rotation may be necessary. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg telemetry unit. - Monitor ECG rhythms and assess patient conditions to make informed care decisions. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments. - Active Ohio RN license or a Compact State license in hand at the time of submission. - BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. - Experience with ECG rhythm recognition is essential. - Must be available to work at least every other holiday. **Additional Requirements:** - Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores. - Background checks including any history of license issues will be reviewed; candidates with outstanding cases will not be accepted. - Compliance with nicotine-free requirements where applicable. **Benefits of Joining Our Team:** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
