**Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team on a night shift schedule. This position involves working 3 twelve-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The ideal candidate will have experience in neonatal and pediatric intensive care, along with a dedication to providing exceptional respiratory care to patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy care for patients of various age groups, including neonates and pediatric patients. - Perform direct intubation, extubation, and other critical procedures as necessary. - Administer therapeutic and diagnostic treatments as prescribed by physicians. - Monitor and assess patients' respiratory conditions, ensuring adherence to care protocols. - Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team to offer the best patient-centric care. - Maintain and update patient charts accurately using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems. **Qualifications:** - Must be licensed by the appropriate state board as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). - Valid certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required. - A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist is preferred, with an emphasis on neonatal/PICU experience. - Must be physically fit to meet the job demands at high altitude (7000’ elevation). **Work Environment:** - Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care - Total Staffed Beds: 268 - Scrub Color: All colors permitted for RNs - Charting System: Cerner - Free parking available for staff. **Additional Information:** - Weekend rotation may be required as needed. - On-call responsibilities are not part of this role. - Candidates will adhere to all quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration. **Benefits:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
