**Job Title: Night Shift PCU/MedSurg/Tele Nurse** **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM, including every other weekend rotation **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PCU/MedSurg/Tele Nurse to join our team on the night shift. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and effectively perform charge nurse duties. The selected candidate will also be expected to float to other units as necessary, ensuring continuity of care and supporting the healthcare team in various capacities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical (MedSurg), and Telemetry settings. - Manage and monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly. - Perform charge nurse responsibilities, including overseeing nursing staff and coordinating patient care activities. - Float to other units as needed to support patient care and staff requirements. - Participate in department quarterly education sessions to ensure ongoing professional development and compliance with best practices. **Qualifications:** - Valid nursing license (RN) and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS preferred). - Previous experience in a PCU, MedSurg, or Telemetry setting. - Strong critical thinking and clinical skills, with the ability to work independently. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **Additional Information:** - This is a full-time position requiring a commitment to night shifts and every other weekend. - Candidates must be flexible and willing to adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
