**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry** **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Every Other Weekend Required, Holidays as Needed, No On-Call **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our medical team, specializing in Telemetry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and delivering high-quality nursing services in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a commitment to providing patient-centered care and collaborating with healthcare professionals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate patients and assist physicians in delivering patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on individual patient needs. - Identify patient needs and establish priorities for care through ongoing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments. - Initiate assessments influenced by patients' problems, physicians' diagnoses, and overall health frameworks. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions to manage care effectively. - Document care according to established standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based care standards and support the adoption of innovative practices. - Provide exemplary patient-centric care in alignment with established nursing practice models. - Float to various units as required by facility needs and patient care demands. - Engage in continuous learning and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience. - Demonstrated competency in managing respiratory patients, including those on ventilators. - Proficient in administering cardiac drips, managing tracheostomy patients, and interpreting telemetry strips. - Required certifications include BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, and Telemetry Certification or completion of a Telemetry Competency Exam. - New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license is mandatory. **Education:** - Required: ASN from an accredited nursing program. - Preferred: BSN from an accredited institution. **Certifications & Licensure:** - Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and Telemetry Certification required. **Why Join Us?** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
