**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift** **Position Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients in a fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate will follow established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques, demonstrating competence in making professional judgments regarding patient care. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will assist providers in patient care and education, and engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver nursing care to patients in accordance with established guidelines. - Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations, treatments, and educational efforts. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Monitor patient condition and respond effectively during emergency situations. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with office procedures. **Minimum Requirements:** - Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. - Experience: One year of nursing experience preferred. - Knowledge & Skills: - Comprehensive understanding of nursing principles, procedures, and patient education strategies. - Awareness of safety hazards and precautions in a clinical setting. - Familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures. - Basic understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines. - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams. - Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. - Proficiency in operating medical equipment and administering various treatments. **Licensure/Certification:** - Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license. - Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, with renewal every two years. **Working Conditions:** - Fast-paced and often stressful environment with high patient traffic. - Potential exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, and bodily fluids. - May require working irregular hours and occasional travel to other office locations. **Physical Demands:** - Ability to perform full-range body motion, including lifting and handling patients. - Requires manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. - Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds. - Vision and hearing must be in the normal range, either naturally or with correction. --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
